SleepTalker hört während deines Schlafs über das Mikrofon mit und erkennt selbst, wann es laut wird. Gespeichert werden nur diese Ausschnitte – zum Beispiel wenn du sprichst oder schnarchst. Der Rest der Nacht bleibt stumm.
SleepTalker listens through the microphone while you sleep and detects by itself when it gets loud. Only those moments are saved – for example when you talk or snore. The rest of the night stays silent.
Warum braucht die App Zugriff aufs Mikrofon?Why does the app need microphone access?
Ohne Mikrofon kann SleepTalker nichts aufnehmen. Hast du den Zugriff abgelehnt, kannst du ihn in den Einstellungen deines Geräts bei SleepTalker wieder erlauben.
Without the microphone, SleepTalker can't record anything. If you declined access, you can allow it again for SleepTalker in your device settings.
Tipps für gute AufnahmenTips for good recordings
- Leg das Handy in die Nähe deines Kopfes, z. B. auf den Nachttisch.
- Das Mikrofon sollte nicht abgedeckt sein – also nicht unters Kissen oder in eine Hülle mit verdecktem Mikrofon.
- Häng das Handy über Nacht ans Ladekabel, damit der Akku sicher bis morgens reicht.
- Place your phone close to your head, e.g. on the nightstand.
- Keep the microphone uncovered – not under the pillow or in a case that blocks it.
- Plug your phone in overnight so the battery lasts until morning.

Das schreibt Android vor: Nur so darf das Mikrofon bei gesperrtem Bildschirm weiterlaufen. Über die Benachrichtigung werden keine Daten übertragen.
Android requires it: it's the only way the microphone may keep running while the screen is locked. No data is transmitted through the notification.
Wie funktioniert die Transkription?How does transcription work? Premium
Die App wandelt eine Aufnahme auf Wunsch in Text um. Wenn möglich passiert das direkt auf deinem Gerät. Geht das nicht, wird die Aufnahme zur Erkennung an Apple bzw. den Spracherkennungsdienst deines Android-Geräts geschickt – aber nur, wenn du die Transkription selbst startest.
The app turns a recording into text on request. Where possible, this happens directly on your device. If that's not possible, the recording is sent to Apple or your Android device's speech recognition service – but only when you start the transcription yourself.

Wo werden meine Aufnahmen gespeichert?Where are my recordings stored?
Ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät. Sie werden nicht an uns übertragen – außer du teilst sie selbst, nutzt die Server-Transkription oder ein Backup.
Only locally on your device. They are not sent to us – unless you share them yourself, use server transcription or a backup.
Wie lösche ich meine Daten?How do I delete my data?
In der App kannst du einzelne Aufnahmen, ganze Nächte oder alles löschen. Auf Wunsch löscht die App alte Aufnahmen automatisch. Beim Deinstallieren werden alle lokalen Daten entfernt.
In the app you can delete individual recordings, whole nights or everything. If you like, the app deletes old recordings automatically. Uninstalling removes all local data.
Brauche ich ein Konto?Do I need an account?
Nein. Es gibt keine Anmeldung – wir kennen weder deinen Namen noch deine E-Mail-Adresse.
No. There is no sign-up – we know neither your name nor your email address.
Wie sichere ich meine Aufnahmen?How do I back up my recordings?
- iPhone Premium: Schalte in der App das iCloud-Backup ein. Aufnahmen, Nächte, Tags und Transkripte landen dann in deinem eigenen iCloud-Konto.
- Android: Ist die Sicherung auf deinem Gerät aktiv, kann Android die App-Daten verschlüsselt in deinem Google-Konto sichern und bei einer Neuinstallation wiederherstellen (begrenzt durch das Speicherlimit von Android).
- iPhone Premium: Turn on iCloud backup in the app. Recordings, nights, tags and transcripts are then stored in your own iCloud account.
- Android: If backup is enabled on your device, Android can back up the app data encrypted to your Google account and restore it on reinstall (limited by Android's storage limit).

Wenn du es erlaubst, liest SleepTalker Schlafanalyse und Herzfrequenz für den Zeitraum deiner Aufnahmen. So siehst du, in welcher Schlafphase und bei welchem Puls du gesprochen hast. Health-Daten verlassen nie dein Gerät, und die App schreibt nichts in Apple Health. Widerrufen kannst du den Zugriff in iOS unter Einstellungen › Health › Datenzugriff & Geräte › SleepTalker.
If you allow it, SleepTalker reads sleep analysis and heart rate for the time of your recordings. That way you see which sleep phase and heart rate you talked at. Health data never leaves your device, and the app writes nothing to Apple Health. You can revoke access in iOS under Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › SleepTalker.

Wie schalte ich Neuigkeiten aus?How do I turn off news?
Schalte „Neuigkeiten“ in der App aus – dein Push-Token wird dann sofort von unserem Server gelöscht. Morgen-Zusammenfassung und Wecker sind davon nicht betroffen, sie werden direkt auf deinem Gerät erzeugt.
Turn off “News” in the app – your push token is then deleted from our server immediately. The morning summary and alarm are not affected; they are created directly on your device.
